Client Care Specialist

Are you an experienced Front Desk Receptionist who loves to remember details about your clients to help build lasting relationships?  Would you love to use your excellent Customer Service skills and abilities in a position that would allow you to truly make a difference to others?  If so, this is a great opportunity for you!

A small, busy and successful veterinary practice in Fernley has an opening for a Full-Time, experienced Front Desk Representative to join the team.  This is not your grandmother's Front Desk position!  Veterinary receptionists play a vital role in the daily operations of this business.  Your contributions will be valued and make a difference in the lives of many pets and the humans who love them. 

In addition to the customary duties of a reception position, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills with room for additional responsibilities for a real go-getter!  


If you have the below knowledge, skills, abilities and experience, you are invited to apply!

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a client facing role providing both phone AND face to face customer service.
  • Superior relationship building skills.  Can you remember details that clients share with you so you can follow up with them the next time they are in?
  • A love for learning.  As a Front Desk Representative, you will have the opportunity to learn new techniques for providing excellent service as well as a lot of information about the veterinary field!
  • The ability to think on your feet!  Do you enjoy fast-paced environments that keep you on your toes?
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!
  • A true spirit of teamwork.  It should bring you joy to step in and help co-workers in need!  
  • Confidence in your skills that give you the ability to step in to defuse difficult client interactions.
  • Dependability!  Clients count on us to be there for their furry (and not so furry) family members.

Prior veterinary experience is not required but a love for animals and a sincere interest in the animal care field are essential!

You should be available  . . .

to work full time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:30 pm.
